Default Coolant lines under fast 90 manifold?

I was installing my 90/90 set up and found out that my coolant lines that run from each corner of the heads doesn't fit under the manifold. I was wondering what you guys use instead of the stock metal lines to get it to work.

You dent them down. I used a plastic hammer that had lead shot in it. You just want it to bend down.

BUT with the older cars you have to get different cross over lines, some sponsers sell this. If I recall your car is going to have one going down the middle of the motor and those gotta take a hike BUT still have them cross over from the cyl banks.

Are you talking about the ls6 crossover lines? Is there any way to make some lines to work instead of buying those ones?

Doesn't usually turn out very well...tendency to leak.

Your stock line under the intake won't work, you will need to buy the LS6 blockoffs for the rear and crossover for the front

Or you could do like me and buy 2 of the crossover pipes and use a T and hook the front and rear back together.

Agreed, Id never recommend it, SOME people can weld aluminum and make their own, or just swap out the block off.

Either way the LS6 need to be bent down in the front of the block.

Default fast intake install

dont forget the special valley cover bolts - the OE bolts are too tall and will crack the lower side of that cheap piece of plastic intake and that will make you

Yep, I'm one of those hacks. Has worked well for me with no leaks all summer.

It wasn't that much work for me to pull the intake, so I wouldn't care if I had to do it again if it were to start leaking down the road. In the meantime, I save a few bucks and got the results I was looking for.

I'm not saying it wasn't a lil hack, just saying there's other ways if you're not interested in putting money into someone else's pocket for the same results.

I went ahead and bought the lines, but I called speedtweekers to get them and they bumped the price up to 35 instead of their advertised 20, which kinda pissed me off cause the only reason why I ordered the lines from them was for the price.

you are probably going to have to bend the front line down to clear, dont be alarmed if it doesnt fit at first. Just push on the middle of it with your hand untill it bends down some.

You got lucky, they changed me $45 and didn't even ship them.
