Corsa installed, Not happy
Had a flow master.
The Corsa sound is muffled and metalic sounding.(raspy is the term you all use I think)
I was hoping for a good sound like I had on my old car.
I had Mac mid length with y pipe and cats and Borla cat back.
Borla is to loud with LTs as my friend already tested it.
My question would be is there anything I can do to improve the sound of the Corsa?
Not what I was expecting 800 dollars + installation later.
Yours seems to sound good.
I have heard they get louder as time goes on.
I have about 200 miles on the Corsa.

When I got mine installed I was a bit disappointed, especially when the baffle inside broke in less than 300 miles and it cost me over $250 to get a replacement
The sound has gotten a bit better with time (some people say it because carbon builds up on the inside) and has grown on me quite a bit, but it's still raspy. I will say one thing though, it sounds awesome at WOT
Just better hope there's no cops 2 mile radius
I had someone suggest installing a resonator in the I-pipe to tone it down a bit but not too sure how much it would help. Here's a clip at idle.

exhaust just ended under axle at the time that vibration that fills your speakers in the beginning is what used to set off car alarms
Magnaflow sounds smoother and deeper than the Corsas, which have a lot more of a raspy "bark" to them.
I'm going to have your same setup, as I plan to return Kooks ORY and get the catted Y. The only difference then will be that my Corsa is "broken in"...if there is such a thing.
Check this thread from a few days ago.

HMFDZ28 Has your setup and he says:

Did that & got my resonator from KOOKS, after i did that it only lasted two days because i hated the sound after the install, it was too quiet. What KOOKS sent me was a very nice piece theo.
