I say go get a Dynomax Bullet muffler or Borla cat-back I have Borla and love the sound plus you can be quite or loud with Borla since it comes with plates to interchange the exhaust. Also i think the SLP LM sounds good with a off road Y pipe but its a little raspy but sounds sweet-I like all these setups!!

Re: Best cat back system & sound
any of these systems eliminate the "tinny" sound that’s typical of an aluminum block engine with a performance exhaust? I’m in the same boat with mid-length headers... i liked the bass of the flowmasters with stock headers but they just ant cutting it with the new headers..... i guess my main question is what flows the best with the most bass?

Any of the above mentioned are going to be good just depends how much you wanna spend.Hooker I think is pretty cheap and its a good muffler with good flow.Borla is pricey but its also interchangable so you can be loud or quiet. If you dont want alot of rasp go Hooker.
