$150 to spend on a temp. exhaust system off headers Ill have about $150 bucks left after i purchase my headers to put sometype of exhaust off the headers to quite it down because it is a DD but there not very strict on sound ordianances around here but i dont think driving around open headers will go down to well with the police and as long as i have sometype of muffler/resonator im safe... So far this is what i have thought of ....
- Flowtech purple hornies (already has turndown)
- Summit racing glass packs w/ turndowns
- Dynomax ultra flow welded race bullet mufflers w/ turndowns
- Morso spiral flow race mufflers w/ turndowns
- Hedman glass packs w/ turndowns
- Dynomax Thrush Header glasspack (already has turndown)
- Dyno max Resonantors w/ turndowns
Any suggestions is appreiciated

You're better off spending that money on as much piping as you can get and not even waste the money on a muffler. Relocating the exit of the exhaust is going to do a lot more to quiet down the interior than a race muffler right off the header collector can possibly do. I'd spend it on two turndowns an a shitload of pipe.
Best thing to do is get some 6-8in extensions and run a couple of 3inch Dynomax bullets off of them. It'll be loud as hell, but driveable. The bullets should only cost you about $50-60 each brand new.

Im going to go true duals because of the HP gains. I got rid of all my exhaust (because the job menikei muffler did was so bad)so right now im running with no mufflers and no Y pipe just 2 1/2" turndowns on the stock piping off the manifold.
