I agree...i had a friend daily drive his MS4 camaro at first with the stock then then later with a 3800 stall...even on the stock stall it wasnt BAD...but definately easy to drive with the 3800.

mmmm. i wouldnt want to drive an a4 period without a stall! haha... but yea, its not what most people think it is... besides, even if it was bad... if its putting good numbers up, you can get use to just about anything..

Seems to me at this point that:

- mid-220s or below is a small cam

- high 220s to mid 230s is a medium cam

- high 230s to mid 240s is a big cam

- mid 240s and higher are the monsters

I've always considered my 224/228 on the smaller side compared to most of the cams my friends and other people I know have in their cars.

Anything that is gonna be driven alot I'd keep the duration under 240, anything that's being built to run a # is gonna need 240+

As for 22x anything, I had that once, and it picked up a good bit over stock but I would never put something that small in anything n/a again.

220/224 cam, 4000 stall, 3.46 gears, 3500 lbs, and a nice street driver. 11.50's@119. If I had a well chosen larger cam with more gear I would be quicker but at the expense of streetability IMO.

well i dunno how small your gain was. But before my cam i dynoed 331/344. Then installed my 228/232 and went to 404/375 That is a gain of 73 RWHP .. Now sae was 415/378 for a total gain over stock of 84RWHP
