Your little lock icon implies you think the discussion is over. Nothing else to say to you.

If you insist.... Just because you are too whiny to daily drive a seriously built car, don't assume that we others will not. You have a narrow interpretation of what is streetable. You may expect your camaro to behave like a Lexus but many insist that it act like a race car and they love it. To each his own.

Who the hell are you to tell others that they are stupid or wrong or second best because they picked a bigger cam than you think is necessary? Or their car is more gutted than you think a street car should be. You are the type that every time you get your doors blown off it is only because the other car is a "racecar".

Oh, and in high school I dd'd my BBC 14.0:1 camaro with 4.56s and a 5000 stall, get the sand out of your vags.

Bottom line = big cam cars run the number. How many babydick cam cars are on the top 15? DD or Racecar, there are NONE!

Good day.

How many times have we heard that?

Do you have a carb style intake with a large elbow?

I'd rather give up a little on top to pick up a bunc on the bottom and in the middle. Best "average" power is what you want in an enjoyable daily driver. Now if you're looking for a cam to take out to the Burger King on Saturday night to impress other people - go big.

Me, I'd rather impress myself every time I drive the car.

Just my $.02

So what if he has a dominator carb or 2 double pumpers on a tunnel ram, he could still drive it. Just because you wouldn't drive it doesn't mean he wouldn't. You guys are pretty soft core where I come from.

Has nothing to do with driving it, I thought maybe he had that huge hood to clear a custom intake setup and if he did I wanted to see pics.

Nope. Not yet, eventually it will have a elbow, with the next setup. I just bought the hood, because it will be needed, and it was on sale at a pretty big discount a few weeks ago.

excellent statement... one of the best so far.

i have 410s... i have a 4l60e (overdrive if you dont know).. 4000 stall.. i drive mine about 50-60 miles a day EASILY!

do you know the difference in taking off from a red light in a 3k stalled car and a 4k stalled car.. about 150-200rpms... thats not really a big difference at all..

my race weight is 3250... what does that mean? it cant be on the street? i still have almost all of my safety features..

just because you cant handle a 4k stall 410s and a low race weight doesnt mean we can... my car is a dedicated street car.. i take it to the track about once every 3 months or so, and again EASILY drive it 50-60 miles a day.. usually just after i do another mod such as heads do i go to the track... i dont have an aftermarket tranny or rear... no cage.. no nitrous... doesnt sound like a "racecar" to me.... you seem like a tool after that post...
