Exclamation Help ASAP broke braided ground wire

I need some advice on what to do. I going to install my new motor H/C and i just saw that the fkn braided ground wire that goes on the block has broken in half ...can i just soder or soilder (dont know how its spelled) it back together ..if not what can i do to replace it...

the one from the 02 connector to the frame rail on the drivers side?
if it can't be repaired or you can't find a similar peice at a parts store run a wire with eyelets on each end

I would think a yellow butt splice would work fine...

You can solder it until you get a new one. Just make sure it has good coverage and has a good bond.

I actually got a replacement for mine at Walmart - oddly enough, they had a large gauge wire with eyelets that was about the right size, and it bolted up no problems. Found it back in the automotive section.

any auto part store sells them. look were the battery cables are. and they should have ground straps around that area

every autopart store should have them with the battery cable goodies.
