Default ms4 what pushrods

I have a chance to pick up a used ms4 with TSP 7.350 pushrods. I still have stock heads with ls6 intake. will those pushrods work? will I need to cut my pistons? thanks

You won't need to cut your pistons but those push rods are too short.
push rods are about $110

Yes but longer ones, the ones you posted are shorter ones by .050, you need to go the other way, 7.450

And as far as PtoV clearance I think if you are stock deck and gasket it will make it, but I am NOT positive on that

Texas Speed is pretty good about designing/phasing their camshafts to work on stock LS1/6 longblocks, with stock pistons and rockers.
I would think you may need a little longer pushrod, maybe 7.400" or 7.425". John J. at TSP might know right off the top of his head, if you call and ask him. Most (but not always) stock combinations are becoming fairly predictable when it comes to pushrod length when using these more common or well known cam grinds.
If you don't have an adjustable pushrod for checking/confirming length, I believe the "rule of thumb" is to have between ONE to ONE AND A HALF turns after ZERO LASH (the point at which all pushrod 'wiggle' has been taken away at the lifter plunger AND rocker arm) when 'bottoming out' the rocker arm bolt on the BASE CIRCLE of your cam. Less than that, and you need a longer pushrod. More than that, and you need a shorter pushrod.

I have some 7.450" Comp Cams, if you need them.

the stock ones are already 7.400" and the base circle on the MS4 is smaller than a stock cam, so therefore you need longer pushrods.

Yeah, I ran TSP's 233/239 (a couple steps down from the MS4) with 7.450" pushrods (that's what TSP recommended, and that jived with my adjustable pushrod and # of turns past zero). But this was on a 2001 LS6, so I wasn't sure if the valves or cam base were different from LS1 stuff.

I later ported and decked my heads, so I went to a shorter pushrod. My 7.450" Comps only have a couple thousand miles on them.

I want to say they were about $120-$130 new...
so I would sell for...
$80 Paypal and Shipped UPS.

Upon inspection, if you don't like them, you can return them.
But you should make sure that is the length you need, first.

We stock & offer both the 7.400" & little bit longer 7.425" length pushrods. I would not try the 7.450" length, the 7.425" length is just about the max.

Don't forget about a good dual spring to keep that cam in check. I haven't seen any mention of that yet. The 7.45 pushrods will probably make your PTV clearance a little to close for comfort.

Stock length is actually a bit shorter than 7.400" guys. FYI.

if you dont mind what is the actual length?, I was under the impression that the stockers were 7.400 and and most aftermarket cams are .050 smaller in diameter, is that correct?
