Default ET improvement Z06 cam vs stock

I have a 02 SS stock,,,want to put a Z06 cam & Kit and some Pacesetter LT's on it. If the car ran a 13.35 stock with bolt-ons,,,how much ET would the cam and headers pick it up saying it hooked up as good as it did stock. How many more horses would the Z06 cam & the headers add to the thing. Any ideas???

Thanks

id say ud see a pretty decent gain. Considering the 01-02's have the smaller cam. plus LT's always help with flow and performance.. im no guru but im sure ud see like 40 more to the wheels.. maybe more?

headers alone assuming a decent flowing catback i would guess 2 or 3 tenths. with a mild cam like that maybe another 2 tenths and 2 mph would be my guess. like monmouth said, i would really look at getting a better cam. if your gonna do the work you might as well put one in that is worth it

pssstt.....its called the LS6 cam....not the zo6 cam

figure basic bolt ons, and the ls6 cam upgrade, tuned 360rwhp or so.

while its a decent cam, for the effort, you could put in a bigger cam and get more power across the board, with near identical drivability.

i had an ls6 cam before, my best before the ls6 cam was 13.19@105mph and after the cam i never found good enough traction but was traping more like 107mph. i never had the cam tuned though besides raised shift points. once i threw in a 3500 converter and a bg ram air kit i ran 12.27@110mph. this was through stock manifolds and an slp loud mouth. shortly after that i added pacesetter long tubes and with still no tuning i actually lost et and trap speed. i should of got that setup tuned but i switched out the cam for an F13 before tuning.

Are you installing LTs and the cam with no other bolt-ons or exhaust parts?
