Cool Valve train help!

Alright all you LSx Guru's...I need help selecting the right brand/size valves for my heads. I'm still up in the air about what heads I'm going to use. I got a set of 853's I was thinking about having ported but I also found a set from an LS2. I am going to use a Comp Cams XR275HR-12 cam and comp 918 springs. Someone help me out here! Thanks!

+1. if you want to lower your cr get some 317's they also flow better then the 241 heads.

Question

ok...So say I buy the LS2 heads...I was told that on an LS1 block there may be piston to valve clearance issues. Is this true? Also, would I use LS1 or LS2 head, intake and exhaust gaskets? What about intake manifolds? Would the stock LS1/LS6 mainfold work? Sorry for so many questions...I'm a newbie to the LSx nation! Thanks for all the help guys!!

if you are going to stay na for a while, yes you will loose hp with lower cr. but if you go fi then it will help you run more boost on pump gas reliably. good luck
