Yeah, I would look into speed inc man. They are probably the best tuner in the Illinois area.

I did make it to a few of the Saturday night events but never did take the car. Most of the time I was in carbondale I was building a motor for my old T/A... only to sell it when I moved back to Peoria and buy a Camaro lol

Do a search for Tim's tool, I just ordered one with the air fittings.

Just go look in the tools and fabrication section. You'll find a huge thread there.

I ordered Tim's Tool thanks for the info Matt. Sure saved me a lotta money.

Now I have to ask since the search hasnt worked in 2 days and I need to be ordering my stuff. Ive decided to do LS7 lifters too. Is the lifters all I need for that swap or do I need different guides? Also wanting to make sure that on sdpc the part number for the ls7 lifters is 12499225 because it just says Gen III lifters on there.

No problem about the tool, saved me a ton of money as well. On Thunder's site the LS7 lifter part # is 20-12499225, so I think you got the right ones.

also... since the search is in its second day of not working right since i have a 2000 the valve stem seals are the older 2 piece style right? and should I worry about replacing them since the car only has about 65,000 on it? and if i should replace them i can just do the seals right? Part# 12533586 and 12457652. and I dont need new seats correct?

Hey The Cook im in carterville we could start our own little f-body gathering. I just moved from Kansas City were you cant hardly go a weekend without some sort of gathering of F-bodies of some sort. Anyway maybee ill see you around. I got a 2000 Maroon Z28 with TT2's on it. Probably the only one like it in Carbondale. There is a tuner in St.louis that everyone speaks highly of on Mo-Fbo--y but I will have to get his name for you.
