H/C Swap in 2 weeks, what am I missing?
I'm trying to get all of my stuff together, and would like to know what I'm missing. I have:
Vengeance VRX3
Patriot LS6 heads w/patriot dual springs and Ti retainers
Head Gaskets
ARP head bolts
Comp 7.350 push rods
LS7 Lifters
LS2 Lifter Trays
Vengeance ported & shimmed LS2 oil pump
LS2 timing chain
TSP cam bolt kit (GM Timing Cover Gasket, GM Timing Cover Seal, GM Water Pump Gaskets & GM Harmonic Balancer Bolt)
Yella Terra 1.7 RR
UD Pulley (w/belts and Crank Bolt)
ARP header studs
Spark Plugs
Locktite
Fluids
So what am I missing?

Forgot to mention if you don't have a source of compressed air then it's a good idea to get some cans of dusting spray - the little cans that blow air out that you use for dusting electronics and stuff like that. Just to ensure ALL water/coolant is out of the head bolt holes in the block before bolting down the new heads.

If your water pump has any sort of mileage on it, I'd recommend getting a new one for preventative maintenance. I did when I did my cam swap, but mine had 75k miles on it too. But I didn't think about it until we had it off the car and the closest place that had one was an hour away. Made for a long night...just something to think about.
