This head will lower compression compared to a stock LS1 head? If so, what are the advantages of this head over a stage II ported LS1 head if you are staying N/A?
Do you need a cam close to .6 lift to benifit from these heads? I currently have the G5 (origional) cam and for a daily driver, it works fine and has a good amount of low end.
What cam will work best with these heads and still be a great daily driver?
thanks,
Crowley

The combustion chambers on the patriot heads have been welded up to bring the compression up. You can pretty much call them and tell them what size you want your combustion chamber and still keep the stock deck height. When I ordered mine, I spec'd the 59cc chamber.

FYI. Stock LS1 = 68-69cc
59cc = ~11:1
64cc is about 10.4 or 10.5:1.
Low lift numbers look good if I remember...so the cam you have will work. I'd get a new one if you wanted a better idle or jsut wanted to go bigger.
