Why do LQ4 and '02+ LS6 Springs have the same part number?

I was reading "How to Build High Performance LS1/LS6 V8's" and noticed that they list LQ4/LQ9 valve springs as the same part number as yellow LS6 springs, they even mentioned that the LQ4 version is 'natural' colored vs the yellow painted version used on the LS6.
Any truth to this? If so, I wouldn't have to swap to the yellow LS6 springs on my LQ4 when I swap out the stock cam for my '03 LS6 cam.
Any help is thanked in advance.
