Default 13.7 scr too high or not????

Now that my gto has the back half done i want to forge my ls1.

I found some diamond pistons with a 10cc dome for use with afr heads (i have 59cc afr 205's) witch would net me around 13.7 scr and a 10.01 or so dcr with a .040 gasket.

it will be tuned on c-16 but may try q-16 but at $92 for a 5 gal jug not so sure on the q-16

Alos plan 2 spray 2 kits 1 wet (150-200) and 1 dry (75-100 to have the pcm pull the timming so i can also have a good n/a tune)

this car will have a race fuel only diet . 13.7 just seems high but right now it has ben at 11.8 scr with no problems on 93.

so with good gas (c-16) can i get away with this much scr. It is track only

plan on going bigger cubes later but i have at least on summer of dialing in the 4-link and like would like to do that with the ls1 and not put the time on a big dollar stroker

and for $800 for pistons i want the most power i can get

what do you guys think?????

Yeah, it will be fine on race gas, just need to match cam valve events properly as well.
