tr224 is a small cam and with those heads you wont make a ton of power (still decent though) what are your goals for this car? why are u stuck on rwhp? i would go with a 230 and those h/i set up and ull be right around there

A buddy of mine did 450 through a stalled auto and a 10 bolt with ported 5.3 heads and s cam a little smaller than an MS3. I would get the fast matched to the heads and an S cam if it were me.

You will actually surprise the hell outta some people with that setup. It will have great driveability and still make good power. If you already have that cam then stick with it. It you dont I would go with a 228 cam. I have the vengeance racing vrx4 and I love it. It drives wonderfully and makes great power all the way till 6500. I put down 395 with full exhaust, ls6 intake, and p&p throttle body through a m6. I want to put some ported ls6 heads on the car later and hope to be in the 430-450 range. Good luck with the build. Keep us updated.

i think you'll be good with that stuff. there are pleanty of ported 243's and 224 w/ full exhaust tuned around 410whp, adding the fast 92 i can see 430+. tr224 is a great cam. w/ great drivability.

i have alot of friends that live by the dyno and they try to deny it, if the car runs strong and puts down a solid time/does well on the road course, it doesnt matter what RWHP it makes, hell i only made 348, lol.

I say 400-410rwhp depending on the dyno. I did 407 with similar setup; stage 3 243s, ported fast 90 and tr224. It did surprise a lot of plp on the streets with stock gearing!! Nice drivability even at 1100rpm in 6th!

But I would go bigger, closer to 230 like the 228R kind...because I want to be closer to 440-450 now; I ordered my T3 cam. Going for 450rwhp!!

i already bought here a Trex cam,i think this is a proven cam that is making a big numbers ,i also bought a dual springs ,the only complaint is that Valve piston clearance,i have a 243 heads no milled and 7.400 Cromoly pushrods,
