TEA does great work from what I hear! Might be more worth it to go with a different casting head than a 241 tho. talk with TEA and see what they say

Since CNC porting cost the same no matter what head casting you have I would get some 243's to port that way you will end up with a better valued set of heads.

TEA or Advance Induction. I sent AI my 243s with valves, springs retainers etc...they charged me $1085 to do all the CNC work and assemble them. Now like stated before me 241s are not worth the time, I know from experience and 1500 dollar investment into heads that I changed out for 243s.

You may want to talk to TEA about a set of Trick Flow Heads

There is no point in spending money on 241/853 casting heads. You'll be down a grand for very little performance gains. Find a set of 243's and have TEA do them (I have their Stage II LS6 heads on my car, and had them supply the core), or go with Trick Flows.

241's are fine, and will make power but not as much as a 5.3L or LS6 head. The biggest reason 241's suck IMO is due to the cc size, and the fact that you drastically reduce PTV clearance if you try to get any compression out of them by milling.

You're better off minimizing downtime by buying something outright, such as a fully ported casting ready to be shipping rather than shipping yours out and waiting 3-5 weeks for them to be finished.

you might find some 5.3L heads cheap and have them ported.

TEA will send you a set of 5.3 heads with no core for a pretty darn good price. They flow well and they will bump your compression. And they will mill them to your specs.

I have their stage 3 5.3 heads and they freakin rock. I later called about changing my setup and going to trick flow heads. They told me not to spend the money because I wouldn't see hardly any difference in power between the heads and the only reason for me to get the TF is for the thicker deck surface for a better clamping potential of FI or big hits of nitrous.

If you got the money, go ahead and get yourself a nice set of TrickFlows....
