I almost Sh!T myself! I was deathly afraid you was going to draw a freaking something on that map showing your placement! I am glad you did not do that. Talk about a breach.
What I find funny is the OP has not posted back on here since like page 2. I hope this experience has not turned off a LS1Tech member to this sight.
As for being inexperienced, we all had no clue in the begining. We are here to help the newbee's too.

educate me lol . its a 15mm ,you took all that time to put a picture on here and didnt even check the size .anyway im familar with the ls engine ,and another thing i corrected myself on the prying part ,i was just saying on some tensioners that are longer ,you can pry the tensioner.AND I AM SURE IT IS A 15mm.And my simple *** is laughing again.YOU REALLY DONT NEED TO TELL PEOPLE THINGS IF YOU ARE NOT REALLY SURE ABOUT IT,THATS CALLED BULLSHIT
Your a ******* dipshit. SHUT THE **** UP. OBVIOUSLY you know absolutely nothing about LS Motors considering there is absolutely NO and i mean NO LS motors(that includes LS1,LS2,LS3,LS6,LS9,LQ4,LQ9,etc.) that you pry on ANYTHING to get the belt loose. They are all spring tensioned with 15mm bolt heads that you use a 15MM wrench(correct tools) to untension with a thing called your own hand grabbing on to it.(The A/C belt is a 3/8 ratchet head and is also spring tensioned if you want to start **** about that) And dont even try to pull your dumbass you dont know what your talking about. Im a full time mechanic and work on LS's Constantly. I would love to see merv's("slow") car rape you.

come on people who really cares about the size of the tensioner bolt? none of this is constructive to the op. all of this started because some one said that his friend changed the alt. in his MUSTANG with a tire iron and a pair of pliers. can we please move on, that was on page 3. i want to see op's carnage pics
