Default Anyone Know Why GM Stopped Selling Sodium Filled LS6 Exh Valves?

I've been looking for a set, but every dealer / parts house I call says GM doesn't sell them any more. Were there warranty issues? Quality issues?

probably because they quit selling the LS6 and nobody is buying the valves when there is cheaper alternatives out there.

Actually go to rockauto.com they sell all factory stock equipment dirt cheap and that's where I got my hollow intake and sodium filled exhaust.

They are considered factory stock equipment.

I would think that too, but they still make SBC motors. Well, maybe not GM, but someone does.

I believe the LS3 exhaust valve is sodium filled with a 1.59 diameter head . I know the intake is a hollow stem .

LS3 exhaust valves are solid and are identical to L92 exhaust valves.

Such as?? I'm not seeing anything as light as the sodium filled valve for less than GM's $30 price. If you know of something, let me know.

Pace Performance website indicates they have them (P/N 12565312) for $36.95 each (MRSP is $50.67). They show the intake valve (P/N 12565311) as discontinued.
