He tried to but never really had anything to offer. He just asked me what he could do to make it right. If he wanted to make it right he would have offered to refund the money back instead of ASKING me. It's just common sense.

Frankly, I'd just rather not having any dealings with crooked people and count it as a loss.

I recently sold a converter to Mach 1 Dan. He sent it off and called me and said it was a little messed up. I apologized not knowing it was (it had MAYBE 1k miles on it and I still am leary of it but I wanted to make it right) and offered to give him his full refund as long as he sent me my verter back. He didn't want to do that but instead asked what I could do for him. I told him to let me know the cost to fix it and I would cover it. I paid the shop $300 TODAY to fix it. I'm not a crook and if I do anyone wrong ( and it's true that I did in whatever case) I will do whatever it takes to fix it/make it right.

So yeah. If Daniel wanted to make it right, he would refund me the money.

You should put something in the sponsor feedback section.

ALWAYS research the seller before buying something over the net... do a search on their username... search that username on other forums, search their business, search whatever you can... ALWAYS

and

NEVER buy anything from Garland trash! LOL

I didnt supply the shortblock. He had purchased the original shortblock. He refresshed it with new rings and bearings, ran it in his car for about 200 miles (who knows if thats true), busted his trans and decided to sell the shortblock. He claims he didnt notice the scuffs. I dont believe him one bit. He would have seen all of those shaving when he chainged the oil (which he claimed he did three times).

Here is the first thread where it has 1500 miles.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-cla...s-headers.html

Then is has 1000 miles.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...s-2-stage.html

And when he contacted me he told me it only has 200 miles on it. Unfortunatly I didnt see the other threads untill the **** hit the fan. All of this will look great for my case though. Everything is saved on my computer.

if you haven't figured it out, he kept asking and didn't offer a refund because podunk already had the money spent before he got it from you...

same thing w/ this engine... CC said on DFW that he didn't have the $2500 to refund the dude even if he wanted to refund him (which I doubt he will)

Obviously.

As I stated previously, I counted it as a loss and moved on. He sent me a pm not too long ago to "try and make it right". Never happened.

Well I'm glad you handled your business like a man. I've been ripped off before and it sucks! My guess is he doesn't have any money to refund you or to the guy that bought his wore out shortblock.

This is why you only buy engines from places that build them...like HKE. Sure it would have cost a little more, but your car would still be running.

This is why you buy engines from REAL shops, not just bumfuck idiots who think that they even take a small step into real engine work.

The inability to spell words correctly sure doesn't give me any confidence the guy can even read right, and last I checked, torque values had to be read.

Some people make me

From what has been said this was sold personally, and not sold via LMP. That motor is trash, Carless chris is a stand up guy and does good work. I have never and would never buy from his partner after reading this thread and seeing the pictures. That is a bs cop out to say the money has already been spend, his sorry *** needs to go take out a title loan or payday loan and get you your money back or atleast some of it atleast.

LMP is a newer shop but Carless Chris has been in the game a damn long time and he is good at. Sucks his partner is going to end up hurting his business.
