We built the PRC 215 heads & 227 heads to use a stock rocker assembly. The bad thing is by the time you buy a $2200 set of TFS heads, upgrade the springs & buy rockers your at closing in on $3000 for a set of heads.
We built the PRC 215 & 227 heads to fit stock long blocks with stock rocker arms if the customer wants to keep costs down. Combine that with the fact that the PRC heads ship with .675" spring standard & you have a unbeatable combo!

The head bolts should be tighter, they were when i did my heads!!! As for your question before, i just went with the GM MLS gaskets and stock bolts, if your on a budget they should be fine

thats odd. none of mine where really that tight except for the bottom 5 bolts. pretty sure they have never been off before either. ok cool cause i went with mls gaskets and stock bolts too. heads are on the motor. just need bolted down, rockers attached and everything else put back together. thanks for the input fellas ![Chug! i wouldnt think so. i mean they were tight, just not breaker bar tight. how can you tell if they are warped?
done for today. spark plugs, tb, and valve covers need put on tomorrow. then she will be fired up. i sure hope everything is right and there are no issues.

Nice progress, I am looking forward to your dyno numbers once everything is done. I am running El Toro too with 243s and I know you will put down some great results with those heads there.

i realize that, but im on a budget. if you have the money then go for it. im not calling anyone else names. just saying thats what id feel like if i spent that kind of money on bolts being in my situation. however i dont PLAN on taking these heads off.......EVER lol.
