i don't plan on using ARP head bolts either, it's just for peace of mind for most people to spend the extra coin on bolts

do arp bolt benefit you in any other way other than being reusable? like keeping you from lifting a head or anything like that?

well im having some issues. drove the car a few miles to the exhaust shop and everything was fine. after the headers and ory pipe were attached i drove it home. on the way it would occasionally feel / sound like it was missing or an o2 sensor was unplugged or something to that effect. kinda like it was coughing or something as i was giving it throttle to speed up. got home, checked plugs, wires, o2 sensors and everything seemed good. after it had been cooled off i tried starting it back up and it was having trouble finding idle and running. noticed the fans would come on so i assumed it was getting a little warm (my temp guage it broke but "check guages" light will come on if it gets hot ). took the radiator cap off and was giving it throttle and coolant was bubbling up out of the radiator. has a new water pump on it.

Hahaha I was just thinking earlier that if this requires the heads to come BACK off I wouldn't hear the end of it from you guys for using stock bolts lol. I'll look at it again tomorrow. I don't know what's going on.

Idk if it's able to be tuned. This seems like it would need to be lined out before I could even make any pulls on the dyno. Doesn't smoke or anything. A vacuum leak could be a possibility I think. I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I can figure out.

took some pics just now. heres why a vacuum leak could be possible. both of these had hoses running to them but didnt appear to be connected to anything or had a hole in it. so they are no longer connected. what do they go to?? i could see this causing my idle and running issue, but not coolant coming back through the radiator.

when i was taking intake / tb / etc off one of the hoses didnt seem to be attached to anything and another hose had a decent sized hole / tear in it. yeah i wasnt planning on getting it tuned like this. just trying to figure out whats going on. why it was running fine with broken hoses but not now.

those MIGHT be cause it but i can't say for sure, did you try to spray the area with carb cleaner to find the leak area?
