Unless you plan on flycutting your pistons, you don't have room to go with aftermarket heads with larger valves. I would recommend stock 243 heads with upgraded springs or Stage 1 CNC ported 243 heads with stock valve sizes. Oh, and you better have an excellent tuner. That cam is pretty healthy.

I'd say you'd be better off, as far as piston to valve clearance goes, with the aftermarket castings actually. They actually give you a few thou better clearance than a stock valved LS6 head will, and you'll need all the room you can get with that one!

Time for bigger stall converter. At least a 4000. That 3200 just isn't going to cut it anymore.

I agree with this guy. 3800 stall and 3:73+ gears are in order as well. A mildly tuned up #243 head, with a good intake, should make around 380+rwtrq and 415+rwhp.

This is a true statement for many aftermarket castings, but not all. Whatever head you choose, make sure the valve free drop is 0.150" or greater. Anything less and you will be too tight on piston to valve clearance with that cam. Check with the head mfr. before you buy. Get that dimension before you spend your cash. TSP has this info for all of their PRC heads and probably all the other brand heads they sell.

For the best piston to valve clearance (which is going to be a concern with flat-top pistons and that camshaft), the aftermarket casings such as the PRC 215's and TFS 215's will be your best bet!

I would also suggest staying with as small a runner as possible to help band-aid the fact your cam is too big.

That cam isnt even in the ballpark for being correct. The car will make more power and be much more fun to drive with a smaller cam. Id go with something more in the 228/234 myself, but Im always conservative on duration, but I love lift!!!. Ive had a few cams that were too big and it sucked. I always error small.

that brought the lulz^^^^^

Wow, that is a big reverse split. Uh, I figured that this was someone else's custom grind that you acquired. I would look at changing cams. I ran a 244/248 and it sucked ***** on the street in an M6.
