Default 231/239 .595/.605 112 to big for stock cubes?

As the title says, is this cam to big for a stock cube m6 full exhaust 4.10:1 non daily driven car? I want a large cam similar to a torquer 2 or 3.

Please let me know your opnions.

I made a mistake - lift is actually .617 .624 !!!! I hope that isnt to big with stock valve 243 heads.

Looks good to me, plus you have the 4.10's so it will work good together.

I have a tsp tv.2 cam 232 234 .595 .598 113lsa. not to big at all, plus drives very nice.

I have a mid 230 cam in my car, and it drives great and makes good power. A buddy put down 436rwhp with his 2004 corvette on the same cam with stock heads/ls6 intake. It drives great too.

Anyone still run a cam like this with 3.42's? If you have a good tuner, and the rest of the setup is spot on, is the 4.10 a MUST? Trying to acheive stellar MPG FWIW.

4:10's aren't a "must", but using any cams north of 230 degrees of duration with 3:42's is like buying a brand new 1080p HDTV and using a standard low-def DVD player on it.

FWIW, 4:10's don't reduce your mpg. Your right foot does after they're installed.

TSP 231/237 here. Full bolt ons, built T56, 3.42s, Dyno tune by Synergy Motorsports, and 25 MPG averaging 85mph on the highway.

actually...by sheer nature of turning higher rpm's...which requires more injector pulse width...you will lose some mpg...nothing major...but math is math..and physics is physics..

and I think your example of telling somebody that a 4:10 gear is like having an HD tv...is retarded
I've driven cams in the 240's on the stock 3.42's....
and I've driven them with 4.10's...and 4.56's...
gears are a personal choice...its not like the example stated above

I was spec'd a 230/238 600/604 112+2 with milled heads, I MIGHT have to flycut, but its def not TOO big for stock cubes
