Question What's the proper clearance Piston-Head??

hey, I got a 6.0L LQ9, Piston, rods and crankshaft is stock, these are cam specs: lobe lift exh=367 int=363 duration @ .050 int=231 exh=239 lobe separation=113.
RC=11:1 converter=3000 RPM
this is carburated: holley vacuum 675
heads 243 casting, valve train full roller.
The clearance piston-head in my engine is .035" but I dont want to take any risk, should I make it bigger or is it ok???

It is generally recommended to have minimums of .080 on the intake and.100 on the exhaust for a street car... You may want to look into flycutting...

Are you actually asking about piston to head clearance, or piston to valve?

Piston to head (basically the same as quench) is ideal around .035-.040" on these engines.

Ive seen as tight as .027 but it was by previous builders mistake and was lucky. .035" is the minimum target clearance to shoot for. I usually zero the piston with the deck of the block and the headgasket thickness be the amount I want.
