Default PP stg2 heads and TR224 Dyno #'s by Nitro Dave's

hi,
i just added a Patriot 5.3 stg 2 heads, Pacesetter headers, LS6 intake, and had the car tuned at Nitro Dave's...

1- a month ago the base numbers were 301.6 hp, 317 tq, on this run car only had a lid and a cutout..car is a 99 SS M6 with stock 3.42 gears

2- same day as #1 i added a TR224 112 cam with no other changes other than the valvetrain, pushrods, TR ls6 oil pum, and timing chain, and dynoed 323 hp and 327 tq..

3- last weekend, i had Patriot stg 2 5.3 heads, Pacesetter headers, LS6 intake, and tunning at Nitro-Dave's, and the numbers were 398 hp, 388 tq
with this run, i checked the tire pressure and saw that one of the rear tires had a little less than 20 psi air, so if it was 30 it might have hit 400 hp

i will try to post a graph if i can get a scanner,
Dave, if your reading this, can you please post the dyno graph

nice gains. just goes to show that you need to let the motor breath in order for it to make any power.

soon i will add a ported TB (don't know which one, Bauer, Jantzer, or Thunderracing TB) and an ASP pully,
do you guys think i can pick around 10 to 15 hp with the TB and pully?

Cammin BeaSSt, that was with the ls1 intake and stock exhaust manifolds

Kit (KGSloan) i see that you are from Stillwater/Tulsa, i saw one time in Stillwater a very nice SOM SS with polished Tourq Thrust wheels, is that your car?

Gotcha, I would have still expected HIGH 340s to 350s. The manifolds were the big restriction, the intake is worth 5 or 10 tops...

Congrats on your gains. Go for the TB, ASP. That alone should get you 400rwhp through your 10bolt and 3:42s....

w/pulley & TB I think you'll be over 400.

The results with the TR cam and stock manifolds sure make the case for LT's!

no, that's not me. my car looks stock from the outside. stock silver 10-spoke rims. the tag reads "1SLOWSS" and the duals make a bunch of noise so you'll know if you ever see me. the car hasn't been driven in about 4 or so months, however. i'm waiting on my new heads from absolute among other things to get the car up and going again. hopefully within a few weeks i'll have it running again. maybe i'll see you at the car wash or ihop sometime and we can shoot the ****

I picked up right at 16 rwhp with an ASP pulley, ported TB, and Yella Terra rockers on my old TR220/Patriot 5.3 combo. I think most of it was from the pulley and the TB... so 10 to 15rwhp wouldn't be too much to hope for. Good gains from what you started with though, I bet if feels like a completely different car.

btw.. was those numbers thru the cutout or the exhaust? what exhaust are you running?

ne14a6t9, i don't know what other H/C cars put there, but i'll ask Dave,

Chris ARE 360, final numbers were with Pacesetter long tubes, ORY, and by stock exhaust i meant a stock cat back with a magnaflow muffler and an open cut out,
thank you everybody,
Abdulla

My stage I heads/cam M6 put down 424rwhp and 399tq through a 12 bolt with 4.11's and a Denny's steel driveshaft.
