*scratches head*

Why not just swap the LS6 as a whole into your SS ?

Just don't forget to change PCM's

A transplant LS6 F-body with bolt-ons raced me on the highway before I installed the Heads/Cam . . . I B!T(H-SLAPPED him all over the place

The LS6 has a .5 point higher compression among other minor details that will screw with your car's performance with the wrong programming.

i agree with the rest of them besides the ls6 heads and cam (ditch this cam while youre at it too) which are better, the ls6 block is a better block than the ls1 block in your car now and the intake pcv system etc etc. just swap it

The PCM only knows about compression ratio indirectly via the knock sensors. Some parameters may need to be modified to optimize performance but the LS1 tune will not be harmful.
