I know, i am oping that the LQ4 pistons would allow me to use the TEA 1.5 5.3 heads as well, i am trying to make sure before i get pissed if i am not able to get away without fly cutting, the valves them selves will cost me .030 as is if they are milled .030 already, the truck head is smaller as is though right? I think i will be ok, but the fear in me wants more in sight, LOL.

Yea, LS1 pistons are flat tops, mine being dished helps me, but also, is there a chance i might be OK with the thickest head gasket i can find? I am worried too much because i will also be spraying the motor and valve reliefs in a motor that did not have them stock makes me worry about the fly cuts giving way to a thin spot that can burn through possible, i am just not sure.
