If it's real and not ragged then hell yeah! I just love the look of that car. Plus I was reading an article not that long ago about em and they were pretty stout stock. They only made 83(I think, could be wrong)of them and only 30 something had signed Speedo's by Dale before he died.

Umm not sure on that one. You could MAYBE call up GMMG and give em the VIN or do some searching on google to see if theres a way to find out from looking at the car. Sounds really low price to be a real one though...if it is though I don't care how far away it is if you don't buy it I will!! HAHA!

Just found this:http://www.gmmgregistry.com/id85.html
Looks like if it's a 2002 it's definatly a clone...
Sorry bud...
If you want to be a good sport about it you could let other potential buyers know that it is in fact a clone and not an original GMMG car.
Turns out there was only 1 made in 02 and it was non-numbered and built specially for Kelley E.

2001 only for public production. There was one 2000 model but that was Dale Sr.'s personal prototype. Only 30 something had signed speedos not all 83 because Dale died in the middle of the production run.

No he's deffinatley trying to pull a fast one. That or he bought it used himself and was told that and really didn't research it any. You could say something to him but that may just cause confrontation...

Now if he got mistaken or something and it's a 2001 then MAYBE...but I just don't see a car like that selling for $11k like the other poster said they're usually very high price wise.
Another way you can check is run a CarFax on the VIN and if it comes up as a 2002 model then you know it's a fake.
