If you are gonna put a blower on it, get some STOCK 6.0L heads and call it done. Probably get those for $500. Put in something like a 218/224 114lsa cam for $400, and set the other $3100 aside for your supercharger. No point in throwing away your money on expensive heads when you're just going to force the air in later (considering you aren't going for a KILL MODE combo, but an emissions legal combo). The 6.0L heads stock have LS6 ports, and lower compression ratio. Combine that with the low cost and its a triple score.

He actually brings up a good point but to take it one step further, if your going to do a SC, why not just do it now and not waste your money on the other stuff. You won't get the max performance out of the SC (with the stock setup) but you can always do a head/cam swap later.

not that good......the 6L heads will lower compression which will hurt you while your running around N/A and the cam is not really big enough to do anything N/A either.

yeah....but thats if your rebuilding the bottom end. The STOCK pistons make 10:1 with 5.7L heads, 10.8:1 with 5.3L heads, and ~9.5:1 with 6L heads.
a reliable emissions H/C setup is a 220-224 duration, 114 LSA cam with a good set of stage 2 heads. With that you can make anywhere from 385-410 rwhp (depending on other things) and be into the low 12s/high 11s.

I would SC it while you have the cash.If you going to do a heads and cam now and SC it later then get large chambers on the heads. You wont have as much hp as alot of H/C cars untill you get the SC. You cant have the best of both worlds with out giving some up on one of the set ups

thus what I said above........if you have the money for the SC, do it now and then add the other stuff (H/C/headers/etc) as you get the money.

I am a heads and cam guy myself. S/C a 90.000 mile motor might be a little hard on the lower end blowby ect. And if you do h/c you can do pistons later to compensate for the smaller chamber heads so compression can be corrected.I would do the h/c there is some fast cars running around. I would get pp ls6 heads and a cam that will work with your situation. And some long tubes of course.

actually you will have a lot of power, and your stock clutch is not gonna hold, and the motor is pretty high milage, so the constant strain of a blower may wear it down quite fast, perhaps a bottle is in your near future? a 100-150 kick would be plently fun, and would work well with a heads and cam package, its more power than just a blower with 5-7 psi, for less of a price, just a thought.
I will also second calling Jay @ absolute, he does some excellent cylinder heads!

don't be discouraged by all the people saying you have a high mileage motor and it won't last.. there are guys on this board with forced induction that have high mileage motors.
heads/cam more reliable.
if your an m6 better save another 2 grand for a rearend either way you go.
