Default Cam help please!!!!

Alright guys I need some help BAD!!! I got a 2000 Z28 A4.Ive got LS6 intake,SLP lid and tune done by Texas speed. My question is I want a very mild cam that will boost performance.I know it would be better to get heads to match them but I dont have that much.I also intend on headers and cold air intake. And of course smaller crank pulley.Any HELP would be appreciated and also some other things that will help with perfomance without costing me alot like a procharger or turbo.I want naturally aspirated. Thanks guys!!

...mild... Go with something in the range of 0.550-0.580ish on the cam with a 112-115lsa. Durations will probably be in the neighborhood of 224-230/226-236 and still be 'mild'. Consider springs too.

As stated above, go with a stall first.

Please get a stall. then get some 1 3/4 headers. should be dirt cheap as now everyone is trying to go 1 7/8 or bigger.

That was a statement, not a question.

Maybe ultra mild/small.
I'd look into a 212/218, over a Z06 cam any day.

From what i read with the 04 Z06 everything you need can still be stock. But this is justmmy opinion.

+1 on the 212/218 115

That is what I started with. It has a great increase in torque and power, does not have a lot of lope, doesn't kill your mileage and has a XFI lobe that is less aggressive than an XE-R lobe, so it is easier on your valvetrain. If you don't want to change springs every 30k, that is a good one to consider
