Default Injector recommendation

I just dropped off the 'Hawk at my builders' place and want to know what is the best choice for an injector? I am using the AI CNC'd 241 and they recommended this grind for my application- 230/234 .630/.630 all on top of a stock cubed 346. My builder says to use a 42lb injector, but after much research, lots of guys here and on the Corvetteforum use the SVO 30lb. I am leaning towards the SVO units. Thoughts?

I'd run an FIC rejetted/flowmatched stocker over an SVO. I've owned both.

^^^ That's what I use, I'd think you'd need at least a 36lb.

What or who is FIC? I would like to go with a flow-matched set also.

IMO, go with the 42's to give you some room to grow.

I checked out there site and found some bosch blue demon injectors that they work up to your specs. All are flow matched. Now, will I need to put on an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or will the factory fuel pressure be sufficient?

I had FIC injector spec me some stock 42lbers (at our pressure). Remember SVOs flow at 43 psi. So a 30 will be a 36 in our car (59 psi or so), and so on. I had them do straight up 42s for my application.

I ran 42 green top SVO's for over 2 years with H/C. No problems here.

Cool, so I guess I can tell them stock LS1 fuel pressure. I really don't want to buy the AFPR if I can avoid it, as I do have a budget that right now is getting near the end.
