Talk me out of an MS3 on 112 LSA
Mods are in sig.. Looking for a top end screamer with my gear/stall set up, and something that will like a 100-150 shot. It's going to be ran on stock heads very little and eventually on 243 heads. Will not be a daily driver. Anyone have a cam suggestion that will suit my needs better?

Just trying to get others opinions to see if a different cam is better suited for my application.. I may wait on the heads, depending on if any pop up for sale locally.

And to the OP, if you are thinking MS3, why not just go MS4, seems MS4 is better throught the range. IMHO the way to go if your gonna go big.

What type of rpm are you shifting at and do you have a built trans? Those 2 are huge factors in picking a cam. Also vehicle weight, what kind of shift extension are you thinking that Fuddle will have, etc.
You should spec cams for a living

I think TSP says check them every 10K if you get the PRC Duals, and they should be good for 40K, so not that often.

If your dead set on that cam or any other with that duration. Since its NOT your daily driver the MS3 isnt bad. And once you add a good set of heads it can be a screamer. Being an auto and Running 4:10s and wanting to add N2O to the mix. What size of tire you running? You may be running out of gear in the 1/4. Unless running a 28 inch tall tire. Or you running the 1/8 mile more? Checking spring pressure as requested on certain camshafts should be done. If anyone wants a agressive cam they need to follow the needed maintenance or suffer the consequences.
