Default Cam... 230/232 .573 .575 111LSA

is a 230/232 .573 .575 111LSA good for a N/A LS1 ? I heard the lower the LSA the better it is for All motor...and I also heard that more intake than exhaust is better for top end so I can pull like a ****... any info about this?

I'm not familiar with FMS or whatever you're talking about...lol, sorry bro, wanna explain it? I'm gonna order it today from Cmotorsports.com cause it's pretty good pricing, but some more info wouldn't hurt...I'm trying to get big gains with a daily driver as well...

my advice to you is dont by a cam today and spend the time researching.

a lower lsa will give you more mid range power but it peak will fall off quicker. keep it at 112 for a respectible daily driver.

good luck, but I would've called a few highly respected CAM places (no dis on CMotorsports) such as Thunder, TSP, MTI, LGM, and of course Futral (FMS)
I hope it was a really good deal, cuz if you didn't get the extras (pushrods, timing set, oil pump, etc) as a package, you'll be sorry!

Are you planning on any LS1 edit tuning with your cam swap? That thing is going to need it to idle and drive half way right.

How do you like your new Cam? Have you been to the track or dyno yet? I am having the 230/232, 572/574, 111lsa from Combination motorsports put in this Sat. and was wondering what I could expect.

Thanks, Becky

My wife and I were the first ones in the Vegas area to go with this cam. She loves it in her car. Even before tuning it felt so much stronger. And the cam pulls all the way up to 6500rpm. We do not have a dyno tune on it yet, we just had a street tune done on it so far. Yes, we did buy the cam through Combination Motorsports. And, yes they do know what they are talking about when it comes to cams and head and cam set ups.
