Default TSP 233/239. Anyone running this on 111lsa?

So I purchased the cam package from texas speed with the 233/239 cam, springs, and rods.

If you buy the cam by itself a 111lsa isn't an option, but with the package it let me.

Is anyone else running this? I'd like to hear an exhaust clip and your opinion on how rough it is to drive on the street.

I've got
Lid/Free Ram Air
Factory LS6 intake(02 car)
Underdriven Crank 25% overdriven alt 25%
ported maf
LT's
TD's
Yank SS4000
built trans
3.23's

How does this setup sound with the 233/239 on a 111lsa? Daily drivable? I know the stall will hide the cam somewhat and it shouldn't buck or anything but what do you guys think?

Not running it,but that's as big as I would go with a DD, and it should work really good with the 4k stall!
BTW, you're going to love the way it sounds!

It's not so much the 111 lsa, it's the additional I/E valve overlap it creates. So with 14*overlap it should sound sweet!

The 233/239 on 111LSA will drive great with the 4000 converter and a proper tune. Nice choice by the way.

I had that cam in a stock motor with a LS6 intake and bolt ons a few years back. Loved it!

I would say it would run well but being as steep as it is...I wouldn't daily it. It would buck quite a bit pulling away from stop lights I'd think.

It would have decent drivability, but would benefit a good amount by swapping to a different rear gear.

doesn't that cam typically come on a 112 lsa? if that is the case, the difference between the two would go unnoticed in the car (especially with a big stall). same deal on the dyno. you are trying to split hairs at this point.

what icl is yours on?

Isn't a 4:10 sorta standard for a setup like that?

I ordered mine with a 111lsa on mine. I guess you would call it custom.

I will be running this cam with the 4000 stall and 3.23 gears. I actually like my 3.23s and don't plan on changing them because I do a lot of highway miles and the economy is necessary

i'm aware of the lsa, but what icl? if you used the custom cam generator, you had to choose an icl.

...how much advance/retard is ground into the cam? 111+4, 111+2 etc..?

the cam will work fine with your 323 gears. still wanting to trad e for a black/black m6 ws6?

Yes swapping to a 4.10 rear gear setup is a very popular choice for the M6 cars.

I'll have to look it up tomorrow. I ordered the cam a long time ago and been saving for tune before install but I didn't use the custom builder.

If you buy the cam package from texas speed it has drop menus for cam, lsa, etc. So I just chose the shelf cam with the 111...I didn't get more in depth than that.

So are you saying that the cam would work good with the M6 as long as I change to a 4:10 gear? What is the power range with this cam?
