How cheap?,ive got one that has .540" lift and im not happy. soon im going with at least .588 .Im an a4. My vote is no. I dont think .525 is enough. Alot of cams are .570 .580 etc... Thats seems small to me.

But ,,,im pretty sure you could drive that cam everyday and not change springs or anything, and still see an improvement. I would also wait to see other opinions.

Sh*t for that price you cant go wrong! I think they"re $339ish new. And hey its way better than the 205/212 .540" the builder put in my car. If you just want improved performance , not the most possible, go for it!

Not worth the trouble to install it, IMO. I wouldn't go through the hassle for anything less than a 224/224. I don't think you'll be happy with it and you'll want to change it again soon.

You WILL need to change springs for that cam. I have a friend with a cam almost like that one. He is running 01 LS6 springs with no problems at all.

well, i am saving for a turbo kit, so it will be awhile for other mods, and i am going to put a ls6 manifold on and replace my pushrods (damn misshifts) anyways, so i don't think it will be that hard to install since i am taking the heads off and everything anyways?????
I just want to know what kind of power, i really wasn't planning on getting a cam but he sold his car today, it wasn't forsale and now he has this and i know he got it a while back and probably can't return it

I'm with QuickWS6. That cam is too small for the effort, no matter what it costs. Save up a little, and go with a real cam

I wouldn't expect a big increase. If I were you, I would wait and get a turbo cam.

Well, i want to change the valve train anyways, Also when i go with a turbo kit i will get a new set of heads, but for now since it looks like it will be a year and a half or more, i want to have the heads milled, and put nitrous on the car so i want to make sure everything it sturdy before i do that. So that is why i am pulling the heads

WHY HASN'T ANYONE TOLD ME ANY HP PREDICTIONS????

The 9" should be finished up tomorrow night. I'm taking it back up to Scott so he can throw in a 4.22 gear. The 3.89 is just a little too small for what I need. If everything gets finished in time, I'll ride up and dyno.
