Believe me, I'm going to Rockingham this spring when it warms up and they have the track actually prepped it's one of the best tracks in the U.S. Lately though anything aside from a pro stock event and their Bi-Annual Civil War Series track isn't worth even driving the hour and half there when I have the considered best 1/8th mile track 6 miles from my house.

Oh believe me I KNOW about state ref. Had to pay $700 something for when some dick *** cop wrote me up one when I was just LT headers & true dual exhaust dumped. Hence why I got a stock muffler & electric cut out now It will be a lot quieter when the cut out is closed. He also wrote me for no cats so I bought some fake hollowed out cats So Id say I'm ready

I like your style, but around here we smoke 1/4's and race 1/8ths!!!!!

And for anyone that thinks this 1/8th car can't run out the back door, I'd love to show some unsuspecting loud mouth what 7400rpm's sounds like through the traps when I'm patting the gas on them.

H/C/I stock bottom end LS1 full weight 3540lbs race weight, stock suspension went 10.90@123mph with a 1.46 60ft with a Custom Futral cam that is now forsale. It's a 232/236-646/612@114LSA.. I had no weight reduction on the car at all.. BTW the car made 447 and 408 to the tire..

I also meant to say that wasn't directed towards anyone in this thread. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

It's been 10.28@129 but I can't find that time slip for the incrementals. Only one I can find closest to it is a 10.39@128 1.34 60' 4.16 330' 6.55 660'@103 and the DA sucked that day over 1000 and was previous owners home track. Shifted the car at 6700-6800 that time and didn't go through the traps that high. Been shifting at 7200 in the 1/8th now and it's picked up a good bit and I'm going to shift it higher next time out.

yea those are good numbers man......car is running the first part of the track hard..1.34 and 6.55 is great.......get some more power to it on the high end and you'll be really hauling......my short times are around the same 1.30-1.32's.....

Well, my combo is designed for street use and occasional autocross, but here's what I have:

228/232 .600/.601 on a 111LSA. Very streetable and nice power through 6500RPM.

Supporting mods are 243 heads with mild port by VA Speed (and patriot dual gold springs), Dynatech LT's, GMMG, 60lb injectors, return fuel system @60PSI, and a SD tune. Tune is very conservative at 12.3 AFR @WOT. Also running a 9" with 4.11's and full UMI suspension hard parts.

Ran the car in 2009 at Petersburg in Va to do the WOT tune with my HP Tuners. Weight (with me): 3750lbs. Ran the car at the track the same as if it's on the street: Street tires, stock springs, front swaybar connected, etc. Car is also a 6-speed.

Got her running 12.7@114.86 with a 1.9 60', launching at 3K RPM. If it was a drag car and I had a proper 60', it would be a faster 1/4. But.... it's not a drag car. Based on weight/mph/etc, should be putting around 400RWHP though the 9". Never used a dyno for tuning...didn't need to.

BTW, it runs GREAT on road circuits. Last run was the Nurburgring in 2011. Ran that in under 12min with tons of traffic.

The car has been 6.38@105 now with the 60' and 330' in my sig. Do you have any incrementals similar to that for the first part of the track when you ran the 1/4? What did it work out too? I know it's not gonna be the same dealing with two different combo's, but just wondering. The incrementals are looking like 10.11@130, and that's using the incrementals from the 10.28 pass IIRC them correctly and that's with shifting at 6800 close to that out the back. I shifted at 7200 on my best 1/8th pass so hopefully that will help it carry some more power out the back and get that 10.0x I want!

Here is the video of the 10.29 pass. 1.33 60', and you can hear it scrub the madman SYA bars when it comes down from it's usual wheelie. I've actually loosened the compression a click but added about 8-9psi to the front tires to keep it from first bottoming out like that, and from bouncing off of the stiffer tires. That itself scrubbed a lot of speed off the 330' and the MPH at the end of the track.

Is it really a 5k stall? I'm guessing that 1.8 was on the wheels in your signature though right?

you caught me! yes it is a 5k converter but it a little on the tight side, can FB it to about 4400 but defiantly flashes to 5k. yes has only been ran as it sits in the pic, spare tire and all.

Shoot I can't tell! That thing left the line and unlike mine when it comes up, yours you can tell has a lot more power as it continues to go up where as mine comes up mainly because it's so light and because of how violent the hit is in my car with the 4.10 gear and stall.

So you went 9.91 with a 6.27 half track trapping 107 at half track. It's looking like that 6.38 pass might of been 10.0x I think it's going to take a little bit more to get into the 9's. Even then it will be squeaking in.
