Default Callies Compstar H Beams good for 800rwhp?

I can not seem to find an accurate HP rating on these rods.... Nothing about HP on callies website... Texas Speed claims they're good for 900 crank HP but...I can not validate that anywhere else...

Anyone KNOW for sure if the Compstar H beams w/arp 2000 bolts are good for 800 rwhp (boosted M6 car) ?

Thanks in advance...

Will be overkill for 800rwhp, have seen them run to 1300rwhp and beyond.

The regular $600 H beams w/arp 2000 bolts?

Damn...

I read on another board that callies unofficially rates them at 750 crank hp...

I am hoping they are stronger then that for sure....My builder recommended them but I don't want to be on the border line with this....

Surely there are more people here running the compstar h beams that have dynoed tested them?

r.p.m's and detonation are bigger rod killers than horsepower.

Thats for sure. I 've run the same set in 2 builds. They are a tough piece. Mid 700 on spray here.

A rep from Callie's rates them at 750 crank HP....

Needless to say, I didn't believe that...

So I am getting info from those that have actually made big power with them... Not what they "should" be good for... I don't want to spend $1200 on rods if the $600 will do what I want safely.

if you have the money get the best rods you can dyers or what ever and you will have them for life almost.

i had a part fail on me with every thing my engine spiked at 12k rpms for i think .43 of a sec on the log the 300m rods held with heavy tool steel pins and boost pistons I floated the **** out of the vavles. im pretty sure cheaper rods would have failed

Buy the Callies ultra billet I beam or H beam. The I beams are rated to 1200rwhp. I can't find the rwhp rating for the H beam but it should be close to that.

Livernois has a crank, rod, piston and accessories package for the Callies ultra I beam.

Due to the clutch in the car im making 721rwhp on the compstar H beam. Could go higher if I had a stronger clutch
