Just received the phone call from the man of the hour, Jayson of MTI, with the initial dyno results of my brand new MTI 427 Z07 Ironblock Superstroker.
Through my large stall Drag Converter, Yank Prothruster 4000 and 3.73 gears, my car pulled a little above 470rwhp (thru the cutouts) and 495rwtq! Jayson, said that out of the many, many, Superstrokers he has done, he was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the incredible power curve the car is making under the peak horsepower numbers. This was the intial dyno pulls on a BRAND NEW IRONBLOCK, so when the motor gets broken in it will make even more power. These initial dynonumbers on a brand new motor going through my 3.73 gears and large 4000 stall tranny, are pretty much exactly what i expected. Jayson said the cars idles great and the car is still pulling hard at 6500rpms and makes max power at 6300. I don't have the dyno graph yet but hopefully will get it and post it in the near future. Car should come home in about 1 to 1.5 weeks and NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM PUMPED!
The car is running without cats through MTI custom 3 inch exhaust going through B&B RT 66 exhaust and is not too loud under normal driving conditions (which i wanted b/c the police in my town our like th GESTAPO) and of course the car sounds like a NASCAR through the open cut outs. A HUGE THANKS to Jayson and MTI for being the complete professionals that they are and for their awesome customer service and overall knowledge and skills concering LS1/LS6 Performance!
Jayson may be able to pull a little more power out of the setup as these were the intial dyno numbers and of course, when i get the car back and drive it, i will repost about my initial impressions! Looks like its time for 28 inch HOOSIER SLICKS b/c with this motor and my stall and gears, this BEAST is going to launch like theres no tommorrow. Will also have to put in my hardened LPE output shaft that's sitting in the file cabinet in my downtown Chicago office! I hope that output shaft does its job!

$25,000 ?
Congrats on the new setup!
Its a terrible thing to have to wait for a motor to be built hehe

Nice!
I bet you will annihilate my 11.02@122.6mph that I ran with my car... (but I had a mechanical problem)... I bet you will run 10.85@125mph up here and I hope to see it!
I did 471rwhp/505rwtq with mine.

That sounds super awesome with the horsepower and torque the motor is making. Maybe one day, I will have to break down get a beast like that. Anyway have a blast and tear the track up. Cheers

Thanks alot for the kind words GUYS! The specs. on my hyd MTI S1 cam are 244/244, .612 lift on a l12 lsa. Can't wait to get my baby home but considering my hometown (CHICAGO)is in the middle of winter storm, which is currently dropping about 8 inches of snow, the car is not going anywhere for awhile anyways. Man, spring just can't get hear soon enough for me. I HATE THE FRUCKIN MIDWEST WINTERS WITH A PASSION! Kills all motorsports and JUST SUCKS, as there is nothing to like about it.
Thanks again and i'm looking forward to some 10 second time slips this season.

I know the feeling. I've had mine out once in the past 6 months just to get my heads/cam installed and back she went into storage.
Hopefully I'll run into you one of these days, I'd like to check out your ride. I'm sure you visit the Elmhurst car shows on Wednesdays during the summer.

Its not snowing in Houston. You could always fly down and beat the hell out of the car down here. Our track never closes
