You guys don't seem to grasp there is no way to make a decent head for 700 bucks and make a profit. Do you think the vendors here have a huge margin on cylinder heads? I'll help you out, they don't!
he said he gets testing valve jobs etc for free since he knows a guy with the shop and did some work for him.

I am still awaiting results too.

and how many of the rest of us can get free work?

So even IF and that is a big IF these work for this guy it would still basically be stupid for about anyone else to buy them having to put all that extra money into them.

I dont think anyone really gives a **** who can afford what, and if these heads are right for you
He bought these, and is having them flowed
Thats all
it doesnt matter how much a valve job costs or if they end up being a good deal.
Budget heads...flow numbers...the end
Everyone needs to chill out a little

Ditto. It's better that someone who has access to free flow testing to get info rather than people take an uninformed risk on them. Give the guy a chance to do what he said he was going to do.

Everyone does realize that I've already posted the REAL numbers for these heads back on page 2, right? The numbers sucked and the heads got returned. I was directly told by Procomp that the numbers listed in the EBAY ad ARE NOT for the heads in the ad. You have to buy a $1220 set of heads from them to get those numbers.
I'm sure HarshReality already has his numbers, and I'm sure they suck just as bad as ours did. He hasn't posted yet because he's either trying to take the time to retype the numbers or he's having his shop do further port work to get the correct numbers.

yes, showvette you are completed right....might as well just shut this thread down. how ignorant of us to be waiting on someone else's time and money. and for you to know exactly what he is now doing for why he hasnt posted the numbers yet. i see no reason to keep this thread open.

You guys are a trip. Lol. Lol. Sometimes machine shops get busy. Give the guy a break. Let him get his findings. I'm sure he's not gonna go threw this and inflate the numbers. What does he have to gain by doing so? Some of you are wearing you panties way to tight. Lmao

ProComp? I once bought a timing set for a SBF from ProComp and tried to install it. It bound up against the cam/retainer plate when the bolt was tightened and the chain had a ton of slack, what a fricken joke. it went into the metal barrel to go back to where it came from. If someone mentions ProComp? Run.

We can only guess the results were less than stellar at this point. I would think if it was a shop delay or something the thread would have been updated
