do OEM brown exhaust valve seals come with the cups attatched? why are they so difficult to find anywhere!

 

Believe it or not autozone sells the fel pro seals which are the same as oem I just installed some on a 2005 5.3 and they were identical to the factory ones. Only thing is they come as a set so you get both intake and exhaust or you can buy the exhaust ones individually which costs the same as the set

 

LOL really i have an autozone down the street from me.= well i should be fine with the orginal black/browns i guess, so since im using 799s i should just ask for valve seals for a 2005 5.3!

 

Wait 799's are off 07 silverados right?

 

Ask for valve seals for an 02 Camaro Z28. The Felpro kit that matches that part # has the seal / seat made into one housing. Those are the ones I always use. Advance Auto parts stocks them.

I looked mine up for 2005 5.3 HO on a 4wd silverado which is what my all aluminum 5.3 came out of and it had the 799 heads...

 

I work at the zone part time and the 02 z28 seals are the same part number
