Looking to upgrade my stock ported 241 heads and gotta ask why are some guys going with the 2.5 5.3l heads over the 2.5 243 ls6 heads ... Pros/cons?

5.3 heads will bump the compression and are slightly cheaper.
ls6 heads will flow alittle better.

Cant go wrong with either. I saw a car put down 408 with ported 241s and a mild cam. My car on the same dyno put down 414. So you may want to consider keeping the ported stockers.

My old setup is in my sig. I'm looking for better numbers out of my C5 once I get a chance (and $$$) to work on it. Probably TSP longtubes, TSP 2.5 5.3 heads and SSHT or Torquer v2 cam to start with.

Im switching to a Vengeance ported fast 92mm intake with a fast 92mm tb and got a 104 fast toys lid

gonna ditch the MAF and go SD also

SO i should be up in power...I hope
