Exclamation head question

I currently have a 227/231 613/617 111+4 Lsa comp cam and stock 241s if I get the heads milled to bump up the compression will my pistons need to be flycut with that size of cam all input is good thanks.

Flycutting to run more compression isnt a bad thing anyway...

yes, you will need to clearance the pistons depending on how much you mill. If you figure out how much room you have at this point, you can derive how much you are able to cut

I don't feel like buying 243s so I've been reading that a set of milled 241s with my kind of cam would yield a nice tq curve

How much milling will I need to get my 241s compression 11:1 I still would like to run 91 pump gas all motor no power adders

with a .040 gasket you will need .020 to get a 241 to 11:1
with a stock gasket you will need .030
those are with no valve releifs cut in the pistons

Ok will milling those heads be better then let's say stock 243s? And My friend has some slightly ported 241s I think they have smaller combustion chambers or larger can't remember the bigger valve is a 2" idk if that's stock size or not

243 64cc
241 66cc
both 2"/1.55" valves

If you get a good deal on 241s they will work fine

Why didnt you just ask me these questions, as stated just run a thicker gasket and .02 off the head obviously new lifters
