Default 12.0:1 VS. 11.0:1 and the TREX!! :)

would it be of great power advantage to me to get some 12:1 compression heads to run on a stock cube motor with the trex, versus heads that are 11:1. what will change with INCREASED compression??... power? ... sound?... reliability decrease??.... just what will happen to my car?

THANX!

good luck getting either of those CR's w/o putting a good sized reliefs in your piston to clear the valves and lift....

Dude your best bet is gonna be to run 5.3 heads that have been milled as little as possible and just take what you can get unless you want to cut reliefs like what was stated in your pistons and even then with 5.3 heads you may have to.

To my understanding, this cam is already cutting it pretty close on stock compression ratio

what if we are very willing to cut the pistons and were actually planning on doing it anyways... THEN could i run some 12:1 heads ? would it make a GREAT deal of power difference over 11:1 ?

thanx!
