Yea it will run for like a min then die out and back fire like crazy if I let off the gas and backfire and die out any other suggestions on what it might be or does it take a really long time to get the fuel out heres what I did

Pulled line that goes to fuel rail pumped as much fuel out as possible put new fuel in it ran for like a min backfire and cuts off Idk what the hell the problem is now

I think you need a tune and then go from there.

You think I should get it tuned before I get the backfire under control?

The tune may be why its backfireing. You changed heads and cam.Somecars will run.Not real well but will run on the stock tune and some just dont take it to well untill tuned. A tune may solve all your problems.

Or he could spend $500 only to find out it isn't tunable due to a mechanical issue. The car shouldn't backfire if everything is correct. Fwiw my 236/245 idled on the stock tune

It could happen. Im still wondering if the valves hit the pistons when he spun it over with the first problem

Get a video of the backfire if you can....even without a tune the car should be able to idle at least...

If your plugs are wet with fuel...it could be a sign that you have fuel but no spark. Did you have a chance to check spark?

Yup looks like you are not firing correctly...check spark on all the cylinders one by one. I bet you have no spark either because of bad coils or cam or crank sensors...

Check the coil pack connectors, it you get spark in all 8 wires then this might be becuase it is running way too rich.

Just pull a plug connect it's wire to it and place it against something metal to ground it. Then crank the car and see if it sparks. Do that to every cylinder, one-by-one...
