I'm running the TRAK cam with stock 241's and Comp cams trunion upgrade, is the same specs as TV3 but 112 LSA. I was running it in 3.42 gear in M6 but I'm in the process of 4.10 right now!!!

I know a guy running the v3 with stock heads and he seems to like it. He is running stock rockers with no problems. Seems to be very streetable. He's never had it on a dyno but runs consistant 12.0s with a m6 and full weight. I also know a guy that had a cam similar to the v2 (cant remember the exact specs) with patriot 243 heads and head ran consistant 11.7s with a best in the 11.3s. that car was also full weight m6. Both of these cars were running stock rears with nitto drag radials.

I would settle for ll.3, and time would be lower with v3 and 243s....I was going to wait till I got back from Afghanistan and get a stroker kit and a 80 mil turbo.....but I might just spend 2k on some trick flows and call it good

Does your power curve go up all the way to 73 or does it flatten out before it.
my cars got 4:30 gears with an overdrive transmission ,

on the dyno my motor was still making power at 7300 but i shut it down , being a stock shortblock i didnt wanna break it ..

Then slap on a used nitrous kit for like $500, and you'll have some cheap extra insurance just in case lol

I'm scared to do that...my little brother told me one shot is the equivalent of adding 30,000 miles to your engine..and all the horror stories I hear about nitrous gone wrong turns me away from it.

Dude I promise you that is not the case! Set up right, and it's no different than a running a blower or turbo. Listen I ran a 100 shot in my Mustang for over 4 years, and not one single issue! Plus I was pushing over 400 rwhp on that 04 gt which was "theoretically" pushing the stock internals to the limit. It's all about the tune, setup, etc...

IMO, you can't go wrong with a good set of heads, regardless of the direction you take your build!

You can totally waste money thought....like buying high compression heads then going to a turbo setup....you'll have to switch

I went from a 228R to a V3. The V3 pulls hard everywhere all the way screaming to redline. But I'm running ported TSP heads and a FAST 102.

If you're seriously planing a future turbo build then don't get them milled, just run thinner head gaskets for now.
