Finally pulling the trigger on parts!
Good news is the suspension feels great. I have a bit of a vibration at 50. Either the pinion angle is whack or the exhaust and trans mount are getting to know each other.
Now I'm contemplating a fully tubular front setup with a manual rack...

Btw, here is an update on my surging/non-idling car. I now have HPT and thus begins a new journey into the land of WTF.
So logged what was happening using Russ K's cfg file. Unfortunately, I didn't save the data in the log (saving the cfg only saves the PIDs, not the data populating those PIDs. Go figure). Anyway, I was impatient, so when the coolant hit 107 I went ahead and refired it (because it was almost 90 today anyway, not like I was going to get the low temp cells). But it stalled out before it could get up to temp (and I disabled the fans in the scanner). So I have a very narrow view of the Desired Idle Airflow.
Here are the files. I used Russ K's cfg file (which it won't let me upload for some reason).
The base running airflow is really low. All of them were in the 3-4g/sec range, which is very low for a cam with 16 degrees of overlap (plus the car won't hold idle with that). I have airflow around 10.5g/sec, which would be about right with this cam, but you can see the STIT are showing like -70s lbs which is horrible. It means I have way too much airflow. Is the 102mm TB causing the RAF to be that low? Is there something else happening here? Also, the IAC is showing very low counts. So it's fully open and it's still stalling out. So, I would assume the TB is open too much or I have an intake leak of some sort?
Timing is around 28-30 degrees for now, but I know that needs to come down to the 18-22 range. I also started looking at the HPTuners post on adjusting other parameters of the tune. But those all seem pretty minor compared to the RAF values. I will disable the adaptive idle airflow until I get this somewhat locked in. I also raised the idle RPM from 925 to 1075 so I can see what in the hell it's doing. Tomorrow morning, I will rerun the config after I close down the TB... But I have it set where I do doing 1/8 turns until it would start. POS TB.
Also, it's wanting 10.5g/sec before it warms up seems about right. And it idles more consistently when it's calling for that sort of airflow. But that cold, it seems like it would want even more. Maybe 14g/sec. So again, probably too much air coming in from the TB blade or some leak. I also adjusted the EOIC based on my cam specs to maybe clean up any sort of idle stench and help with surge. I'll post my modified tune file tomorrow after I play with it some more tonight and rerun the Desired Airflow Table cfg.
Any ideas?

I actually bought it from Summit. You can buy from HPTuners or really anywhere. SDPC has good combos with widebands, but the shipping to me is usually a bit slow. Summit it next day because of my proximity to their Georgia warehouse. I was antsy.
