Default Picking up some fresh ls6 heads, questions.

So I'm picking up some brand new ls6 heads with .650 lift springs and pushrods (assuming they're 7.400" but I'll check) next week to replace the 853s on the car. Getting a good deal or else I'd save for something better. But my question is, should I get them milled, ported, or what? I will be getting a custom cam spec'd out as well.

I would get them ported, milled and vj before the swap, that will make the swap worth it

If its in budget, def get them ported. That's one of my regrets every time I pull the intake and see the heads.

You wouldn't be the first. How quick would you want them back?

I'm in no hurry. Just assembling parts at the moment so I can do heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and stall all at once.
