Default should i use the g5x2 cam,or stay with the g5x1 cam??

i have a 01 ws6 w/heads,cam,all the boltons, nos, and 12bolt w/4.11's. i have the mti c1 hammer cam and i have the g5x1 cam going in next weekend with comp 921 springs. i was thinking of switching it to the g5x2 cam and installing that,i have a few questions. my car is a daily driver.
#1-how is crusing around town at like 40mph with this cam? is it a pain in the ***?
#2-how does it idle. does it shake the hell out of the car at idle? is it loud?
#3-does it drive like stock on the highway,do you know it's in there?
#4-is the power of the x2 WORTH IT over the x1 cam,how much is the gain at the track? 1 tenth, two tenths?
#5-is anyone not happy with it for a daily driver?
THANKS. i see alot of great track #'s with the x2 cam,but if there is only a 5 or 6hp difference between the two,it's not worth it to me to loose some driveability for a little gain. THANKS, MIKE C.

I would go with the X2 cam as it is making BIG POWER and seems to be very streetable from all the posts i have read on this cam and it seems like a REAL WINNER!! Not to mention the fact that if you go with the x1 you are always going to be second guessing your decision to have gone bigger and badder and may as well do it right the first time! WHen i cam up my Z06 the x2 on a 112 lsa is probably what i will be going with to be used with my stock LS6 heads!

in a 6 speed with good tuning an x2 will be no problem driveability wise...

if he will exchange for free...its a no brainer...get the X2...

How do you know? Seriously I'm thinking of going with this cam if I can get away with using my REV springs and not flycutting a .005 resurfaced heads. I may still go with this winter and mill the heads and flycut if it has to be flycut anyways...

Quick Reply: should i use the g5x2 cam,or stay with the g5x1 cam??
