No hood yet. VFN is making my C-5 style cowl hood.

Two 45 degree elbows and carb hat all from Pepboys. I only gained 2hp by removing the elbows and carb hat on the dyno.......

It's the VFN WS9 Outlaw. I did have the flat OEM hood fit with this setup...........

This makes me want to build a budget LQ9 with this intake/TB setup, new custom cam and re-use my Advanced Induction Dart/RHS heads. I think 500 rwph could be acheived with the right setup and compression. Somewhere around 12:5.1 would be nice, but not sure if pump gas 93 would work. I'm itching to do something big this fall/winter.

i can't fit a filter on mine w/ a spacer, and dominator tb under my 4" VFN..
